Prince Zuko (later Fire Lord), also known as the Blue Spirit, is a fictional character in Nickelodeon's animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Zuko is the Crown Prince of the Fire Nation and a skilled firebender, meaning he has the ability to create and control fire. He is the eldest child of Fire Lord Ozai and the older brother of Princess Azula. Despised by his father since birth, Zuko was banished after interrupting a war council meeting and then losing an Agni Kai duel to his father, from which he got his scar. As a result, Ozai sent him on a fool's errand to capture the lost Avatar (who was still frozen in the sea at that time), promising a return of Zuko's birthright after the Avatar was captured and killed. Uncle general Iroh and Ozai's brother, accompanied Zuko in his banishment and quest.
