Silver the Hedgehog is a silver-furred hedgehog from 200 years in the future of the main timeline. He first appeared in Sega's 2006 game Sonic the Hedgehog. Her adventure revolves around her traveling back in time with Blaze the Cat to find and kill Sonic the Hedgehog, who they believed to be the cause of their world's destruction in the future. Specifically, Silver's main ability is telekinesis; he is able to levitate objects and use them as projectiles to defeat enemies or interact with his environment. Like Sonic and Shadow, he transforms into his "super form" using the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds.

Sonic the Hedgehog (commonly known as Sonic '06) is a 2006 platform game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. Thus, it was produced in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the Sonic series and was intended to be a reboot of the seventh generation video game consoles. In this game, players control Sonic, Shadow, and new character Silver, who fight Solaris, an ancient evil pursued by Doctor Eggman. Obviously, each playable character has their own campaign and abilities, and must complete levels, explore hub worlds, and fight bosses to advance the story. Finally, in multiplayer modes, players can work cooperatively to collect Chaos Emeralds or race to the end of a level.
