Kakuzu is a fictional supporting character in the Naruto manga and anime series created by Masashi Kishimoto.

He is one of Naruto's closest friends since childhood and is the best friend of Shikamaru. He is a chūnin-level shinobi of Konohagakure's Akimichi clan and a member of Team Asuma. Along with his team-mates, he is part of an Ino–Shika–Chō trio, just like their fathers were before them.

He is voiced by Kentarō Itō and Yumi Kawashima as a child in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Robbie Rist and Colleen Villard as a child in the English version.
